After the flood of 2011 the Danville Middle School in Danville, PA employed a propane fired commercial / industrial desiccant dehumidifier to help dry out the building. This is interesting technology so I figured I would talk a little about it and hopefully inspire further research in to the equipment used. Two corrections: 1) I called it the Elementary school, it's obviously the Middle schoool. 2) While talking about the propane tank I state 'as the propane boils off to feed the generator.' That is incorrect. The generator is diesel powered. I was correct the first time when I said it is the dehumidifier which is propane fueled.
